On 25 October, the Ministry of Energy said the Syrian Petroleum Company was sending 250 diesel tankers from Baniyas to Aleppo and Idlib to address an active diesel shortage after attacks disrupted the Baniyas-Homs product pipeline. The ministry-linked reporting also says diesel unloading has begun at Baniyas storage, indicating the government is using both emergency trucking and fresh maritime supply while pipeline restoration remains incomplete.
The Tartus Energy Services Directorate announced on October 29 that it closed a station in Sahl Miar for one week and recorded violations at two stations in Baniyas. State media also referred to four station closures in September tied to petroleum-stock handling, while the Energy Ministry said it was sending 250 diesel tankers to Aleppo and Idlib.
Enab Baladi reported on 22 October that most diesel stations in Aleppo were out of mazut, and local official Ahmad Shibli said the city would need 48 hours to cover all stations even if supply from Baniyas continues. This adds a clearer recovery timeline and shows the shortage had spread beyond scattered station disruption.
