Support
V³ News is built and operated by a small team at 0Flips Innovations Inc. We read every message and respond personally. This page covers the questions we get most often, along with how to reach us when an answer is not here.
Contact
Email hello@v3.news for any question about the app, your account, your subscription, or the content we publish. Include the email you signed in with so we can find your account.
We aim to reply within two business days. Most messages get answered the same day.
Account & sign-in
How do I create an account?
Open the V³ News app or visit v3.news on the web, then choose Sign up. You can register with email, Apple, or Google.
I can't sign in
Three things to check first:
- Confirm the email address you typed matches the one you registered with. Email codes are case-insensitive but typos still bite.
- If you used Sign in with Apple, you must use the same Apple ID on every sign-in. Apple hides your real email behind a relay address by default, so signing in with a different Apple ID creates a new V³ account.
- Check your spam folder for the verification or sign-in code.
If none of that works, email us and we will sort it out.
How do I delete my account?
Email us at hello@v3.news from the address on file and ask for account deletion. We honour deletion requests within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
Subscriptions & billing
What does V³ Standard include?
The free tier gives you the global daily brief, the open events feed, and a sample of perspectives. V³ Standard unlocks:
- Country and category perspectives on every event
- The full brief archive
- Decision trajectories and confidence tracking
- Field Notes
- The Cognition view and Pressure Windows
How much does V³ Standard cost?
Pricing depends on where you subscribe:
- In the iOS app: $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year (USD; CAD matches).
- In the Android app: $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year (CAD), billed through Google Play.
- On the web at v3.news: $5 per month or $50 per year, USD or CAD.
All three unlock the same Standard tier across iOS, Android, web, and any future V³ surface once you sign in with the same account.
How do I cancel my iOS subscription?
V³ Standard purchased through the iPhone or iPad app is billed by Apple. To cancel:
- Open the iOS Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top of the page.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select V³ News and tap Cancel Subscription.
Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Apple, not V³ News, processes refund requests for App Store purchases; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I cancel my Android subscription?
V³ Standard purchased through the Android app is billed by Google. To cancel:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon at the top right.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select V³ News and tap Cancel subscription.
You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling in Google Play is the only way to stop an Android subscription renewing; we cannot cancel it for you from our side.
How do I cancel my web subscription?
Subscriptions purchased on the web are billed through Stripe.
- Sign in at v3.news.
- Open the Me menu and choose Subscription.
- Tap Manage subscription to open the Stripe billing portal.
- From there you can cancel, update your card, or download invoices.
Can I restore my purchase on a new device?
Yes. Sign in with the same V³ account on the new device. Your subscription is tied to the account, not the device.
If you used Sign in with Apple, make sure you use the same Apple ID; likewise for Sign in with Google. If you signed up with email and password, you can use those same credentials.
A subscription bought in one store cannot be moved to another. An Android purchase is managed in Google Play and an iOS purchase in the App Store, but either one entitles the same account on every surface.
Do you offer a free trial?
Not at the moment. We deliberately chose to keep V³ free at a useful level rather than gate everything behind a trial. The free tier covers the global daily brief and a fair sample of the rest of the product, so you can decide whether V³ fits your routine before paying.
Content & product
When are briefs published?
V³ publishes three briefs a day, anchored to morning, afternoon, and evening Eastern time. Timing varies slightly based on when the underlying coverage stabilises; we choose accuracy over a fixed clock.
What is a perspective?
A perspective is a single country or category view on the same event. Israel's view on a sanctions package reads differently from Iran's. A finance lens reads differently from a security lens. Each perspective carries its own risk and impact scoring, decision-makers, and update thread.
The global view is the balanced starting point. From there you can shift to any country or category perspective to see how that lens frames the story.
What are Field Notes?
Field Notes record what official sources are not saying about an event. When a government or major outlet normally covers a category and goes quiet, V³ notices and surfaces the silence as its own signal. The silence is often as informative as what is being said.
What are Pressure Windows?
When several unrelated trajectories start moving in the same direction (energy prices, military positioning, currency stress, policy reactions), V³ surfaces the convergence before it becomes a headline. The platform watches across categories so you can see compounding pressure forming early.
Why am I not seeing entertainment or sports coverage?
By design. V³ is built for people who need to know what matters, not what is trending. Entertainment, celebrity, and sports content is filtered out at ingestion unless it crosses real-world impact thresholds (a stadium collapse, a venue terror incident, a sports diplomacy moment).
A story I expected to see is missing. Why?
V³ ingests global coverage continuously and runs a multi-pass synthesis, but no system catches everything in real time. If you think we missed a meaningful story, email us a link and we will look. Coverage feedback meaningfully shapes the next pipeline pass.
Why does the same event look different across perspectives?
That is the point. Each perspective is a country or category view of the same canonical event. The Russia view of a US semiconductor export ban reads differently from the Taiwan view. V³ does not claim any single perspective is objective truth; it surfaces them side by side so you can build a closer-to-truth picture yourself.
The platform does score its own generated content for embedded bias and surfaces that as metadata. See the Privacy Policy for what telemetry is recorded.
Bugs & feature requests
Something is broken or looks wrong
Email hello@v3.news with a short description and (if you can) a screenshot. Include the app version (Settings menu inside the app shows it) and your device model. The more specific the report, the faster the fix.
I have a feature idea
We read every feature request. Email it in. Requests that line up with the V³ thesis (calmer, structured, multi-perspective) move faster than ones that pull toward the attention economy.
Data & privacy
What data do you collect?
A short version: account email, pseudonymous session telemetry for engagement analytics, and your subscription state. We do not sell data and we do not run third-party trackers. The Privacy Policy covers this in full.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Email hello@v3.news from the address on file. Export and deletion requests are processed within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for retention and the rights you have.
