Organizers expand Sept. 19 protest into multi-city mobilization; Security Ministry prepares anti-blockade operation

On September 15, organizers of the 'Marcha de la Bronca' said the September 19 protest had broadened from a sectoral demonstration into a self-convened national mobilization across roughly 30 cities, with unions, retirees, health workers, feminist groups, students, and social organizations joining. The Security Ministry separately said it will apply a special anti-blockade operation. The combined announcement changes near-term protest planning because it raises the probability of simultaneous actions in Buenos Aires and provincial capitals and increases the chance of friction over road clearances and access to federal buildings.
